In close proximity to the Khilli and Neftchala deposits containing iodine-bromine brines. Azerbaijan was estimated to have 170,000 tons of iodine reserves, 4th largest after Japan, Chile, USA.

Iodico operates 80 wells using advanced Electric Submersible Pump equipment, reaching daily extraction capacity of up to 20,000 m3.
ESP systems are selected for different operational needs, with debit capacities from 25 to 400 m3/day and working depths from 350 to 3000 meters.

Up to 80 wells operated by the company in the designated 583.5 ha fields. The 80 wells daily pump up to 20,000 m3 of brine to annually produce 200 tons of iodine.
The resublimed iodine with assay not less than 99.5% is exported mainly to China, India, EU, CIS and others.
